What documents do I need to apply?

The standard applicant checklist — what’s required and what can be waived. · 2 min read

Have these ready before you start — you can upload photos or PDFs:

  1. 1Government photo ID (1) — required.
  2. 2Pay stubs — your 2 most recent.
  3. 3Bank statements — last 3 months — required.
  4. 4Tax return or W-2 (1).
  5. 5Employment verification letter (1).
  6. 6Rental history / receipts (up to 3).

Good to know — Photo ID and bank statements are always required. The others can be waived with a short explanation if they don’t apply to you (for example, if you’re self-employed or a first-time renter). Your application page shows a live “uploaded / required” count so you always know what’s left.

Tip — Clear, full-page photos upload fine — just make sure all four corners and the text are readable.
