How to apply for an apartment

You can apply two ways: tap Apply on the listing you want, or open the apply link your agent sent you. Either way, the steps are the same.

1. 1Create or sign in to your account.
2. 2Fill out the application form — income, employment, and rental history.
3. 3Upload your documents (see “What documents do I need?”).
4. 4Optionally connect your bank to verify income faster.
5. 5Review and e-sign the application agreement.
6. 6Pay the application fee + refundable deposit to submit.

After you submit, you can track your status on your Application page — and you’ll hear back from the agent or landlord by message.
